Chelsea began their pre-season tour of the United States with a convincing 5-0 victory over League Two side Wrexham at the Kenan Memorial Stadium in North Carolina.

New signing Christopher Nkunku, who joined from RB Leipzig for a club-record fee, opened the scoring in the first half, with further goals coming from Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Mason Mount, and Armando Broja.

The match was Chelsea's first under new manager Graham Potter, who took over from Thomas Tuchel earlier this summer.

Chelsea will continue their tour of the US with matches against Charlotte FC, Arsenal, and FC Barcelona before returning to England for the start of the new Premier League season.
