Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton (born October 26, 1947) is an American lawyer and politician who served as the 67th United States Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013, the junior United States Senator from New York from 2001 to 2009, and as the First Lady of the United States from 1993 to 2001.
A Member of the Democratic Party
A member of the Democratic Party, she was the party's nominee in the 2016 presidential election, becoming the first woman to win a presidential nomination from a major party. She lost the general election to Republican Donald Trump.
In the Aftermath of Roe v Wade
In the immediate aftermath of the Supreme Court's monumental decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, conservative writer John Ellis wrote a column for CNN in which he argued that the decision was a "victory for the unborn" and that it would lead to a "reversal of the sexual revolution."
