Jordan Howard, Britain Covey to join active roster
The Eagles have added two players from the practice squad to their active roster ahead of their Week 1 matchup against the Packers.
Running back Jordan Howard and wide receiver Britain Covey were both elevated from the practice squad on Saturday, September 10, 2022.
Howard, a five year veteran, has rushed for 3,996 yards and 29 touchdowns in his career.
He was signed by the Eagles in August after being released by the Broncos.
Covey, a rookie, was signed by the Eagles as an undrafted free agent in May 2022.
He has impressed the coaching staff with his speed and versatility.
The Eagles are hoping that Howard and Covey can contribute immediately.
The team is looking to improve on their 9-8 record from last season and make a run at the playoffs.
