Local Man Faces Charges of Assault, Battery, and Criminal Mischief

Suspect Accused of Assaulting Multiple Individuals and Damaging Property

Sheriff, Kentucky - On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, the Sheriff's Office arrested a local man, 35-year-old John Doe, for multiple charges, including assault, battery, and criminal mischief.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Doe was arrested after allegedly assaulting multiple individuals and damaging property in a local residential area. Police were called to the scene around 10:30 pm following reports of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers found several victims who had sustained minor injuries and a damaged vehicle. Witnesses identified Doe as the suspect, and he was subsequently apprehended by police. Doe was charged with two counts of assault, one count of battery, and one count of criminal mischief.

Suspect Had Prior Arrests

The Sheriff's Office also revealed that Doe had been arrested previously for similar offenses. In 2021, he was charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication. In 2019, he was arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest.

Doe was transported to the Floyd County Jail, where he is being held on a $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 8, 2023.
