Battling Back from a Slow Start

Rocky Mountain College started their season off on the road against the No. 15 Dickinson State Blue Hawks. Despite a slow start, the Battlin' Bears battled back but ultimately fell 42-17.

First Half Struggles

The Battlin' Bears struggled to find their footing in the first half, giving up two early touchdowns to the Blue Hawks. RMC managed only 105 yards of offense, compared to Dickinson State's 316.

Second Half Comeback

In the second half, RMC came out with a renewed energy, putting up 17 points. Quarterback Jake Bolles threw for 164 yards and accounted for two touchdowns (one passing, one rushing). Running back Jaharie Martin added 115 yards rushing for the Battlin' Bears.

Dickinson State controlled the game from the start, scoring on their first drive of the game. The Blue Hawks scored 28 unanswered points before RMC got on the board midway through the second quarter.
